McQueen. Today, the fashion world has lost an irreplaceable figure - Lee McQueen, most commonly known as Alexander McQueen. This brilliant British designer, known for his unconventional designs, died at the young age of 40 and will be greatly missed. Rumours have spread that he hung himself in his London home, but nothing has been confirmed at this time. His twitter account, McQueenWorld, was removed this morning. It showed evidence that McQueen had not been in a steady state of mind for the past week - ever since his mother's passing on february 3rd.
You will be greatly missed and we thank you for all that you have brought to the fashion industry.
